5th 平特五不中 Summer Institute in Infectious Diseases and Global Health

Hosted by 平特五不中 Global Health Programs, the 平特五不中 International TB Centre, the JD Maclean Centre for Tropical Diseases, the MUHC-RI ( and the 平特五不中 Interdisciplinary Initiative in Infection and Immunity, the Summer Institute in Infectious Diseases and Global Health returns with 8 courses. Last year almost 700 participants from 53 countries traveled to 平特五不中 to take short courses featuring internationally known faculty, a focus on highly applicable new knowledge, and opportunities to network with fellow global health professionals from around the world.

平特五不中 is located on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous Peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg Nations. 平特五不中 honours, recognizes, and respects these nations as the traditional stewards of the lands and waters on which peoples of the world now gather. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous Peoples from across Turtle Island. We are grateful to have the opportunity to work on this land.
