My research focuses on identifying therapeutic targets for patients with lung cancer, with a particular interest on the tumor microenvironment, meaning everything present in a tumor except the cancer cells themselves.
Thanks to the GCI's state-of-the-art core facilities and its highly collaborative environment, I hope to provide lung cancer patients with novel therapeutic strategies to better their chances at winning their fight against this disease, as the听lack of efficient therapies contributes to the important death toll of lung cancer.
I look forward to interacting with local and international research groups throughout the rest of my PhD, which has already begun thanks to the collaborations and periodic joint lab meetings held by the Logan Walsh and Daniela Quail labs.
