Research Seminar: Updates from the OurCare Project

Friday, December 1, 2023 12:30to13:30
Price:
Free

OurCare is a pan-Canadian conversation about the future of primary care — from the perspective of patients and members of the public. Conversations about improving primary care are already happening and the OurCare project is an attempt to bring more voices into these conversations. Though the average person living in Canada may not be a primary care expert, they are an expert in their own experience of our primary care system. In order to make this system more accessible, equitable, and sustainable for all, everyday people living in Canada need to have a say. A better system is possible: but only if decision-makers can clearly hear the public demand for it.

This seminar is being organized by the Department of Family Medicine.

Seminar title: Updates from the OurCare Project

Speaker: Dr. Neb Kovacina

When: Friday December 1, 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.

Where: Virtually by Zoom. (A link will be sent to you after registration).

Research Seminar Series

Every month, a research seminar is held at the Department of Family Medicine where we either feature visiting researchers from other universities, or showcase the work of our own researchers. The seminars are attended by our graduate students, researchers and clinicians, and are open to the whole ƽÌØÎå²»ÖÐ community. They address a wide range of research methods and topics relevant to primary health care, and provide opportunity for interaction and exchange with the speakers. The Research Seminars are Fridays at around noon.
