Please be advised that 平特五不中 has mandated La Cie 脡lectrique Britton Lt茅e to carry out the following project:听17-160 McLennan Library 鈥� Convert 25kv distribution switches.
Description:听Project 17-160 aims to replace the 25 kV distribution switches located in the MB 32 room of the McLennan building on 平特五不中's downtown campus. This equipment is critical for ensuring reliable electrical power supply to the McLennan Library, Bronfman, Armstrong, and Redpath Library buildings.

- Decommissioning of existing units (Joslyn)
- Installation and commissioning of new units (Elastimold)
Impact & mitigation
Service shutdowns:
- Some work may require service shutdowns (e.g., electrical, ventilation). Building users will be informed in advance of these shutdowns.
Safety considerations
Demolition work involving asbestos-containing materials is planned until mid-July 2024
The project includes the drilling of Gypsum walls that contain asbestos. This work will be carried out under the appropriate asbestos safety protocols. This phase of the work is expected to be completed by Mid-July 2024. The safety protocols include a variety of protective measures, including, the use of specialized vacuuming equipment, specialized cleaning, and daily inspections by our health and safety consultant.
