The Department of English is thrilled to invite you to a Roundtable on small press publishing in Canada featuring Oliver Fugler and Ashley Fortier of Metonymy Press, David Bradford of House House Press, Eloisa Aquino of B&D Press, and Ashley Opheim of Metatron Press. With a focus on听English-language听蝉尘补濒濒听(sometimes micro) presses in Montreal, this panel will discuss how such presses build community, how to transform a passion project into something sustainable and the challenges that come along with this, and the benefits such intimate models afford for (trying to) stay true to your mandate.
