Join V茅hicule Press, the Department of English and the for the launch of Mother Muse, a poetry collection by Lorna Goodison.
All are welcome to a reading by the distinguished听Lorna Goodison, former poet laureate of Jamaica, winner of the Queen鈥檚 Gold Medal, and judge of the Montreal International Poetry Prize 2022. Professor Goodison will read from her latest collection,听听(Montreal: Signal Editions, 2022) at 4 PM on Friday 10 June 2022 at the 平特五不中 Faculty Club. The event will be听in person听(not online). Questions and discussion will follow the reading. Copies of听Mother Muse听will be for sale and the author will be on hand to sign copies. Come and meet a leading voice in Canadian and Caribbean letters, the poet who will select the winner of the Montreal Prize 2022.
