Alumnus recognized for decades of community impact
Bernard Stotland聽(BCom鈥57), President of the Jewish General Hospital Board of Directors from 2009 to 2011, has been honoured with a 150th Anniversary Medal by the Senate of Canada, in recognition for his achievements as a leader at the hospital and his support for arts and cultural organizations in Montreal.

Indigo Books chooses BCom alumnus as next CFO
Indigo Books, Canada's largest book, gift and specialty toy retailer, has announced the appointment of Craig Loudon (BCom鈥94) as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective February 5, 2019.
In accepting his new role, Mr. Loudon leaves his previous position as Indigo's Executive Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer.

GCPA participants score top marks on CFE
Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting (GCPA) participants Liane Brick (BCom鈥17) and Michael Richardson have placed on the National Honour Roll for their results on the Common Final Examination (CFE), with Richardson earning a gold medal for placing 1st among the six Quebec students who made the list.
