The new (non-tech) tech luminaries

Ms. Magdesian was frustrated. Then a researcher at 平特五不中鈥檚 Montreal Neurological Institute, she was having trouble with the spinal cord cells she was studying.

The only way to grow them was in a petri dish, but the cells don鈥檛 grow in a dish in the same way they grow in the human body. Instead of growing straight, they get tangled. It made her work harder, slower and more prone to error.
