Ilias Konstantopoulos, BEng'88, MBA'92
MONTREAL, QUEBEC, Sep 22, 2010 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- BMO Capital Markets, the investment and corporate banking arm of BMO Financial Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Ilias Konstantopoulos as Head of Investment & Corporate Banking, Montreal.
In this role, Mr. Konstantopoulos will be responsible for leading BMO Capital Markets' investment and corporate banking activities for the firm's Quebec-based clients and providing advice to senior executives and boards of directors across a wide range of industry sectors. He will report to Peter Myers, Head of Investment & Corporate Banking, Canada.

Mr. Konstantopoulos joined BMO in 1996 in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group. Since then, he has invested a considerable portion of his time working with BMO's Quebec-based investment & corporate banking clients, and has acquired a deep understanding of the industries in which they compete and market challenges they are confronted with.

The appointment of Mr. Konstantopoulos follows other recent announcements including Luc Bachand, who has become Head of Quebec operations for BMO Capital Markets and Darryl White, appointed Deputy Head of Investment & Corporate Banking, Canada.
