A team of MBA students from 平特五不中鈥檚 Desautels Faculty of Management took the top prize at the Net Impact Case Competition on February 29.
The first virtual round was held over a week in November, where the 平特五不中 MBA team competed against 75 teams for a place in the finals. The 平特五不中 team of MBA鈥21 students Yuan Chu Zi Lao, Gabrielle Maurice, Bill Suri, and Alice Wang were tasked with presenting on a new diversity and inclusion program, which took them through to the finals.
On February 29, the 平特五不中 team travelled to the Leeds School of Business at Colorado University in Boulder for the final round. Each of the 20 teams presented their solutions to a panel of sustainability professionals and corporate sponsors, with the 平特五不中 Desautels team taking out the top spot.
鈥淲e were really proud to represent 平特五不中 as the only international team to make it to the final round,鈥 says Lao. 鈥淚t was a great opportunity to exchange ideas with graduate students from other top business schools who also care about sustainability.
Congratulations to Yuan, Gabrielle, Bill, and Alice on their victorious win.
