Entomophagy: Can you swallow this food trend?

Would you rather miss a PB by a single second, or eat a grasshopper? Runners who are聽competitive enough would聽probably strongly consider the grasshopper in this moment鈥 being grossed out is temporary, but pride is forever, right? Eating insects isn鈥檛 new. Including bugs are a main food ingredient (the technical term is聽entomophagy) is however becoming more trendy.

If you鈥檇 be more likely to try entomophagy out if it didn鈥檛 look like a bunch of creepy-crawlies on your plate, you鈥檙e in luck. In 2013, a group of 平特五不中 MBA students won a 1 million dollar prize for their development of a bug-based flour. The students claim that this removes the 鈥測uck factor,鈥 while providing consumers with a 鈥減ower flour鈥 much higher in protein and iron than regular flour.
