Dentistry Awarded Two Canada Research Chairs

Drs. Martel and McKee received Canada Research Chair grants from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research

The Faculty of Dentistry counts two new Canada Research Chairs granted by the among its ranks.聽

Dr. Marc O. Martel, who also holds a joint appointment in Dentistry and the Faculty of Medicine's Department of Anesthesia, has received a 聽in Chronic Pain, Mental Health and Opioid Use, which will fund his research聽over the聽next 5 years.

Dr. Marc McKee, Professor of Dentistry with a joint appointment in medicine, has received a in Biomineralization, which will fund his research over the next 7 years.
