Homecoming: AI and the Future of Public Policy

Wednesday, September 29, 2021 18:00to19:00
ZOOM, CA

What will policymaking look like in 30 years? What boundaries are worth setting for AI and data-driven policymaking? What are the practical benefits it offers us, and what are the hard questions to answer?

There is a dual relationship between digitization processes and public policy. The first has to do with the regulation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in society and the second with data-driven policymaking.
What is the approach that companies and governments should take now that relevant data is often not in the hands of public authorities and feedback loops (formulate, implement, evaluate, calibrate) have become increasingly shorter?
Join the 平特五不中 Alumni Public Policy Society to hear from experts in the field and better understand this dilemma, as they share their views on how to build an agenda for public leadership.
Brought to you by 平特五不中 Alumni Public Policy Society (MAPPS).
