Desautels MBA candidates Tiffany K. Ellis, Kelly Gonzalez, Garima Singh, and Meghan McCoubrey placed third at the recent Creative Shock Case Competition. Initially competing against 600 teams globally, the Desautels team travelled to Vilnius, Lithuania from November 26 to December 2 to compete as one of the top 10 finalists in the social business case competition.
Congratulations to 平特五不中 student Yuan Chu Zi Lao (MBA鈥21) on her first-place win at the recent Deloitte Impact Case Competition. The competition kicked off at the Deloitte offices in Montreal on November 22, where eight teams were formed, and the case was presented to students. Yuan was grouped with 平特五不中 engineering student Dante Nesparoli and HEC Montr茅al students Thao-Anne Le and Felicia 脡lise Ngoma.
Dr. Toni Rinow (MBA鈥06) has taken the reins of Pivot Pharmaceuticals, where she will drive expansion in key cannabis markets in Canada, the U.S., and the EU. Dr. Rinow brings to the table more than two decades of finance and business experience in the healthcare industry.
