Welcome to Caroline Cassagnab猫re, QRCPCL post-doctoral fellow

The Quebec Research Centre of Private and Comparative Law (QRCPCL) is delighted to welcome its first postdoctoral fellow, Caroline Cassagnab猫re, a doctor of private law from the Universit茅 de Rennes聽1.

Dr Cassagnab猫re's doctoral thesis was entitled La responsabilit茅 envers soi-m锚me, and combined legal theory, fundamental private law, and civil liability.

For her postdoctoral project, Dr. Cassagnab猫re will focus on the notions of person and of patrimony in the context of a comparative study of patrimony by appropriation in both French and Quebec law.

Caroline Cassagnab猫re's research interests include property law, legal theory, law of persons and French law, and she has taught the law of persons, family law, obligations, along with civil procedure.
