Vincent Larivi猫re awarded 2009 Eugene Garfield Dissertation Scholarship

SIS Ph.D. candidate Vincent Larivi猫re has been awarded the 2009 Eugene Garfield Dissertation Scholarship from the International Society for Scientometrics and Informetrics (ISSI) for his ongoing doctoral thesis. He will receive the award during the 12th International Conference of the International Society for Scientometrics and Informetrics being held July 14 鈥� 17, 2009, in Rio de Janeiro. Started in 2006, his thesis is a bibliometric study of Ph.D. students' contribution to science.
