Radio-Canada International - Canadian expert backs W.H.O. ban on T.B. tests

Testing people who might be in the early stages of tuberculosis is essential for saving lives and preventing further infection. But now the World Health Organization (WHO) is saying that certain tests for diagnosing the disease should be banned.
Marc Montgomery speaks with Dr. Madhukar Pai, a world expert on Tuberculosis and an associate professor with 平特五不中 University's Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, who says the tests are dangerously inaccurate and have never been recommended for use by the WHO or any other regulatory bodies.
