Olympic rower doesn't let Juvenile Diabetes 'pull' him down

Olympic rower Chris Jarvis will be speaking at the Montreal Children's Hospital of the MUHC on Tuesday, March 27, at 8:30 a.m. Chris was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes when he was 14. He will address a crowd of youngsters with diabetes and explain how he never let the disease interfere with his goals and ambitions. Chris, who has been on the Canadian National Rowing Team for four years, says he has always played an active role in the management of his diabetes and by being vigilant he has never let it stop him.
Chris is one of the founders of , an organization that strives to educate, mentor and advocate for people with diabetes.
