Nobel Laureate Carl E. Wieman lectures on science education and physics
The Department of Physics at 平特五不中 and the Tomlinson Project in University-Level Science Education (T-PULSE), are pleased to welcome Professor Carl E. Wieman, University of British Columbia, and University of Colorado, to deliver two lectures about science education and physics. A leading advocate for science education, Prof. Wieman has received numerous awards for his research most notably the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2001 for the first creation of and early experiments on Bose-Einstein condensation.

T-PULSE was established in 2002, as part of a significant endowment to 平特五不中 from Canadian scientist and businessman Richard H. Tomlinson, to support the development of more effective teaching methods for university-level science students and the dissemination of these techniques to the professoriate.
