New database: Essential Science Indicators (ESI)

平特五不中 Library now has online access to Essential Science Indicators (ESI), a resource that enables researchers to conduct ongoing, quantitative analyses of research performance and to track trends in science.

ESI uses citation analysis to rank scientists, institutions, countries and journals, covering a multidisciplinary selection of over 11,000 journals from around the world. It also offers the ability to link from the highly cited papers records found in ESI to the corresponding record in Web of Science, where you can view the complete article.
