平特五不中 Benefits from Prestigious International Scholarship Competition
Ottawa, ON 鈥 The world-renowned Fulbright program is an educational movement based on the principle of scholarly exchange between the United States and various countries from around the world.聽 This year, a 平特五不中 student has been awarded a Fulbright to do research in the U.S., while 平特五不中 will play host to four distinguished American scholars in the 2011-2012 academic year.
Ms. Erica Lagalisse, a PhD student of Anthropology at 平特五不中 University, has been granted a Fulbright Award to conduct research at the University of Texas at Austin. Ms. Lagalisse will be in Austin for nine months, starting in September, conducting research for a project entitled: 鈥淭ransnational Networks of Anarchoindigenist Solidarity Activism.鈥

In addition to this, 平特五不中 will be welcoming four American Fulbright award recipients: Dr. Elizabeth Grandia from Clark University will be conducting research with the Institute for the Study of International Development; Mr. Michael O鈥橲hea from Pomona College will be working with 平特五不中鈥檚 Institute for the Study of Canada; Dr. Hilal Elver from the University of California, Santa Barbara will be joining 平特五不中鈥檚 Faculty of Law as the Fulbright Visiting Research Chair in Comparative Law and Legal Pluralism; and Ms. Jacqueline Pearl Kaplan from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill will be conducting research on the St. Lawrence River with the Department of Chemical Engineering.
