Jean de Grandpr茅 family provided generous support to the Montreal Neurological Institute to create the de Grandpr茅 Communications Centre in the MNI鈥檚 Brain Tumour Research Centre. Today, the facility provides a high-technology communications interface for brain tumour researchers in Canada and around the world.
In recognition of his dedication and contributions to 平特五不中, Mr. de Grandpr茅 was awarded a Doctor of Laws, honoris causa in 1981. He served as 平特五不中鈥檚 15th Chancellor from 1984 to 1991 and was named Governor Emeritus in 1992.
