First recipient of the Teresa Troide prize for Excellence in Information Studies

MLIS student, Ms. Shazia Ahmad, was awarded the newly established Teresa Troide Prize for Excellence in Information Studies for the highest academic standing over the two years of the MLIS. The award was created last year in memory of Teresa Troide, with the generosity of her husband, Professor Lars Troide, from the Department of English at 平特五不中. Ms. Troide was an alumna of the School who worked as an information specialist at Canadian Pacific and Canadian National Railways.
