Published: 22 April 2014

We are happy to announce that Emilie Conway, BCL/LLB鈥13, has been selected by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to participate in the Court鈥檚 2014-2015 Judicial Assistants Programme.

Judicial Assistants are chosen to work directly with one judge, helping him or her in the preparation for hearings and the drafting of judgments.

Ms Conway was selected to work directly with the President of the Court, Judge Peter Tomka. She will begin work in September 2014.

Professor Ren茅 Provost indicated that it 鈥渋s a mark of confidence on President Tomka's part that he has picked Emilie as his judicial assistant. He has selected a string of 平特五不中 clerks over the last several years, before he was elected president of the Court, which speaks to the qualities of our graduates.鈥

鈥淚鈥檓 honoured to have been selected by President Tomka. The coming year promises to be both formative and unforgettable,鈥 says Emilie Conway. 鈥淚 will do my very best to represent the Faculty!鈥
