CRDP hat trick for 平特五不中 Law students

R茅gine Tremblay, Anne Merminod and Joyce Tam, three 平特五不中 Law students, have won the first, second and third prize from the Essay Contest organized by the Centre de recherche en droit public (CRDP) of the Universit茅 de Montr茅al.

As part of an essay contest aiming to initiate undergraduate students to legal research, the Centre de recherche en droit public (CRDP) offers three prizes destined for students studying law at Universit茅 de Montr茅al, 平特五不中 and Universit茅 Laval.

This year, a trio of 平特五不中 students took the three prizes.

  • 1st prize: R茅gine Tremblay (left on photo), for her essay 鈥淟e droit myope鈥
  • 2nd prize: Anne Merminod, for her essay 鈥淭he Deterrence Rationale in the Criminalization of HIV/AIDS鈥
  • 3rd prize: Joyce Tam (right on photo), for her essay 鈥淣ew media technologies, law, and society: an ecological approach鈥

The prizes were awarded on September 23, 2008, as part of the opening session of the CRDP presided by its director, Professor Karim Benyekhlef (center on photo). Furthermore, the essays will be published in the e-magazine, .

The Faculty warmly congratulates R茅gine, Anne and Joyce for their triple win.
