Andr茅 Aisenstadt Student Research Fellow position - call for candidates

Following a generous gift from the Nussia & Andr茅 Aisenstadt Foundation, the 平特五不中 Centre for Human Rights and Legal Pluralism (CHRLP) is now opening this call for applications for a Nussia & Andr茅 Aisenstadt Student Research Fellow.

Job Description 鈥 The Aisenstadt Fellow will provide assistance to the CHRLP to further its mandate as a centre for research and action on human rights and legal pluralism. The Fellow will be involved in current Centre projects such as the compilation and editing of a collection, Dialogues on Human Rights and Legal Pluralism, the development of clinical legal education programs, and research projects on dignity and human rights in Latin America. The Fellow will help to develop seminar series and conferences for the forthcoming academic year. A portion of the work will be administrative in nature.

Duration 鈥 The Fellow will be asked to work for a period of 10-12 weeks on a full-time basis.

Criteria 鈥 The Fellow will be selected on the basis of knowledge and commitment to human rights (please indicate relevant course work, activities, and professional experiences); research experience; demonstration of initiative, dynamism, and ability to work independently; writing, research and organizational skills.

Eligibility 鈥 Current Law students of any nationality may apply for this position.

Deadline 鈥 Applications must be received by 6 March 2009 at 5pm.
