The Montreal Chest Institute opened its doors officially on October 21, 1909 as a dispensary for treatment of tuberculosis with emphasis on early detection, home care and education. The MCI quickly became known as one of Canada鈥檚 leading hospitals for research and treatment of respiratory diseases.
The MCI is affiliated with the 平特五不中 and is part of the 平特五不中 Health Center (MUHC).
