Learning to Teach: A Professional Development Workshop for Graduate Students
This one-day workshop is designed for graduate students who are presently teaching, or who would like to prepare for their teaching role as future professors. Through interactive small and large group sessions, participants will develop essential pedagogical knowledge and skills.

The day will include brief presentations from Teaching and Learning Services, Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies, and the Library. Participants will be able to select two small group sessions to attend on such topics as course design, facilitating discussions, delivering presentations, grading, engaging students, and more.
The day will close with a dynamic group of panelists exploring 鈥淲hat I wish I had known about teaching when I started鈥. For a complete description of the day鈥檚 events, please see the Program.
Note: Refreshments from 8:30 am to 9:00 am. A catered lunch will also be provided.
