Canal Savoir to broadcast Media, Politics and Protest Camps in the Occupy Social Movement
The first part of Media@平特五不中鈥檚 event, Media, Politics and Protest Camps in the Occupy Social Movement will be broadcast on Tuesday, April 17, at 7:00 p.m. on Canal Savoir. The first episode of this two-part series is titled, 鈥淭he Way I See It鈥, and features the keynote lecture delivered by Pulitzer prize-winning journalist Chris Hedges on the Occupy movement as a crucial revival of American popular resistance. 鈥淭he Way I See It鈥 will also be shown by Canal Savoir this Wednesday, April 18, at 2:00 p.m.
The second episode is a panel discussion with Nathalie Des Rosiers, General Counsel of the Canadian Civil Liberties Association, Patrick McCurdy, University of Ottawa, Anna Feigenbaum, University of Richmond, and Chris Hedges. Professor Darin Barney, Canada Research Chair in Technology and Citizenship at 平特五不中, was the panel鈥檚 moderator. You can catch the panel discussion on Canal Savoir next week on Tuesday, April 24, at 7:00 p.m., or Wednesday, April 25, at 2:00 p.m.
