Annual Killam Prize Symposium at Rideau Hall broadcast

On November 20, 2012 His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, hosted the 1st Annual Killam Prize Symposium at Rideau Hall. The topic of the symposium was 鈥淗ow do we find things out? What are the ideal conditions for discovery?鈥

The host of CBC鈥檚 鈥淚deas,鈥 Paul Kennedy, moderated the discussion with the 2012 Canada Council鈥檚 Killam Prize laureates, five of Canada鈥檚 top research scholars:聽

The one-hour discussion concluded with a question and answer period with the laureates and invited guests. The Killam Prize Symposium is presented by CBC Radio in collaboration with the Killam Trusts and the Canada Council for the Arts.
