Dr. Claire LeBlanc Reappointed Division Director of Pediatric Rheumatology
The Department of Pediatrics is happy to announce听that Dr. Claire Leblanc, Associate Professor, has been renewed as Division Director of Pediatric Rheumatology for a five year term commencing April 1, 2018.
The external evaluators, the Review Committee and myself were all impressed by Dr. LeBlanc's strong听leadership of her group听over her听first term. In particular听we took note of her听energy and enthusiasm, her听positive support of colleagues through mentoring and an attention to wellness, and her听pro-active responses to challenges faced. In addition her听support of new initiatives that improve both clinical activities (e.g.听Point of Care Ultrasound, external clinics at TCC and elsewhere)and academic efforts (e.g听Fellows from East Africa)听deserve noteworthy听mention.
