  • Leila Goulet,听Director of Education of the Red River Zoo
    Leila Goulet obtained a Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, majoring in Wildlife Biology in 2004 from 平特五不中, MacDonald Campus. After teaching high school science for a year, she traveled to Australia, New Zealand and Thailand to garner more knowledge in her field. Upon return, in 2006 she obtained a paid internship as a zookeeper at Wildlife Safari in Winston, Oregon. She continued to develop her zoo expertise, acquiring over 6 years of animal care experience鈥 working directly with large carnivores, elephants, ungulate, birds of prey, reptiles, primate and small mammals animals at various zoos, including the Ecomuseum in Ste. Anne-de-Bellevue and Parc Safari in Hemmingford.听 In addition to her science degree, in 2011 Leila earned a Bachelor of Education Degree at the University of Ottawa, Ontario. To date, she has over 7 years high school teaching experience and her true goal is wildlife education, including initiating programs that bring the public into close proximity with wild animals. Working with animals and teaching about the importance of wildlife and environmental conservation within a zoo setting is her passion.听 She is currently the Director of Education of the Red River Zoo in Fargo, North Dakota where she determines the Red River Zoo鈥檚 educational strategies, develops curricula and educational materials for outreach and on site programs, and oversees all aspects of the Zoo education programs. She is also the education animal zookeeper.
  • Benoit Lamarche, Eng.Director, Engineering Services
    Innovation and Development Department
    Benoit Lamarche obtained a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering in 1994 from 平特五不中听University. He started his career in the field of erosion control and pursued in Research and Development for agricultural equipment.听 In 2003, Mr.听Lamarche joined Biogenie, division of EnGlobe Corp., as a Project Engineer in the Innovation and Development Department where he contributed to the construction and expansion of a network of Soil Treatment Facilities in Montreal, then in the UK and France. 听In 2007, he was promoted as Project Director and since 2010, he holds the position of Director, Engineering Services. His responsibilities include preparing Capital investment projects, their plans and specifications, and supervising progress of field work in support of the corporate strategic development plan.

  • Beth McCarthy
    Student Conservation Association (SCA)

    Following her Bachelor鈥檚 Degree History from St. Bonaventure University (NY USA) in 2002, Beth McCarthy gained experience as a 听Living History Intern at Death Valley National Park, CA, Scotty's Castle. In 2004 she joined the SCA National Headquarters, as a Recruiting Intern, following which she worked at Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Ohio as Transportation Interpreter. These experiences led Beth to a full time job with Student Conservation Association as the Great Lakes Recruiting Representative from 2006-2010 and she shifted over to be the Northeast Recruiter in August 2010. Beth travels to different schools to get people interested in SCA and acts as a resource if they have any questions about SCA鈥檚 programs.

  • Jean Paquin - Sanexen
    Jean Paquin has worked for the past 35 years in environmental protection, in the development of technologies and in particular for the remediation of contaminated sites. As a graduate of the faculty of chemical and biochemical engineering at UWO, Mr Paquin and the team at Sanexen have successfully implemented innovative processes that are now commercialized globally.听
