Owen currently leads the Broadcasting, Copyright and the Creative Marketplace Branch at Canadian Heritage, which is the policy centre for broadcasting and copyright policy, CBC/Radio-Canada, the Canada Media Fund, the Creative Marketplace Lab on Data, Skills & Technology and the Digital Citizen Initiative. Much of his current work involves looking at the impact of digital technologies on Canadian policy and society.听 Owen believes passionately in the potential of public policy to improve the lives of Canadians and in empowering teams to be as effective as possible.听 A graduate of 平特五不中, Owen has both a B.A. degree (Honours History & Political Science) and a law degree.

Chlo茅 is an applied anthropologist fascinated with how humans make meaning and organize the world around them. For a decade she has worked in design settings where she has led ethnographic research, facilitated conversations and driven analysis to uncover the insights that lead to more purposeful and human-centered systems, tools, and practices.

As part of Sonder Collective, a design co-operative, she collaborates with partners and communities on complex global health, humanitarian and social innovation challenges. Among some her current projects she is using an HCD approach to reconsider 'the why' behind the workings of the DRCongo's data immunization system.

Marina Boulos-Winton is the Executive Director of Chez Doris, a day shelter for women in difficulty, a position she has held since April 2015. During the last several years, she has also been a course lecturer at the Universit茅 de 惭辞苍迟谤茅补濒 in the Certificate of Philanthropy Program for the Faculty of Continuing Education as well as a consultant for a variety of non-profit organizations. Prior to this, between 2009 and 2012, she was the President & CEO of the Foundation of Greater Montreal. Between 1997 and 2009, she was based in New York City, where she held positions as the Executive Director of the High Water Women Foundation, President and CEO of the national 鈥淚 Have a Dream Foundation庐,鈥 and as an Assistant National Executive Director of the YWCA of the USA, and earlier, held senior executive positions with the national fundraising consulting firm, CCS Fundraising Inc. and with United Way of New York City. In Montreal, from 1993 to 1997, Marina was Executive Director of Le Bon Dieu Dans la Rue, and preceding this, served as Executive Director of Tel-Aide. She is a graduate of 平特五不中 and holds a BA with a major is psychology and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Management.

Under Marina鈥檚 leadership, Chez Doris鈥 annual operating budget has increased from $950,000 to $3.6 million and its team has increased from 11 to 42 employees. The organization has launched a capital campaign to raise funds for an emergency night shelter for homeless women as well as a permanent residence with 26 affordable apartments for vulnerable women; these two new points of service will be launched late next year.
