Bios

Dana Chevalier is a bilingual lawyer, an accredited mediator and presently holds a political function in the public sector as a municipal councillor for the town of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue.

An early participant in youth leadership programs, Me Chevalier has sustained her commitment to community involvement through legal clinics, family crisis intervention, environmental initiatives and local economic development. Her most recent community involvement includes citizen mediation with an alternative justice project out of YMCA Ouest de l'卯le and Probono legal clinics in Kuujuaq, Nunavik. She is currently a member of the Barreau du Qu茅bec's committee on participatory justice.

Me Chevalier holds a Bachelor of laws (LL.B.) and a certificate in Intercultural Education from L'Universit茅 du Qu茅bec 脿 Montr茅al where she was awarded a "bourse d'excellence de la fondation de l'UQ脌M" and funding from "l'Agence Universitaire de la francophonie". She also holds a diploma in Native Community Work from Anishnabek Educational Institute where she was awarded for her leadership.

Celia D鈥橝ndrea is a Senior Case Manager at the Montreal Disability Management Services Office at听Great-West Life. Previously, she worked as a lawyer at听脡tude L茅gale Franco Schiro, a practice which focuses predominantly on criminal law. She graduated from l鈥橴niversit茅 de Montr茅al听with a Bachelor of Law, and has been a member of the听Quebec Bar Association听since 2012. Celia is a听平特五不中听alumni, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology (minor in Psychology) in 2006.

Ivy Tolchinsky, M.A.- Recovery Coach, 听Addictions Counselor and Group Facilitator. Member of CACCF (Canadian Addiction Counselor Certification Federation)

Ivy is passionate about recovery and has dedicated over 15 years of her career working in the field of addiction and treatment.听 During that time she has dealt with a wide range of individuals at various stages in their recovery process; from newcomers (pre- and post-rehab) to those struggling with issues in later recovery. She also works with families and couples in the healing process.

She empowers people to use their lifestyle transition as a learning process to find new and fulfilling directions while maintaining sobriety. She believes everyone is naturally resilient and already possesses everything they need. It鈥檚 only a matter of accessing that strength and energy.

Ivy also helps individuals and professionals through career transition; taking stock of where they are currently, building a vision for the future, creating CV鈥檚, marketing/networking and the job interview process. This can be particularly helpful to the recovering person who often finds him or herself needing or wanting to explore new career/job possibilities in sobriety.

She currently has a thriving counseling and coaching private practice in Montreal where she offers individual, face-face as well as phone and Skype sessions for those living outside of the area. She has created her own 7-step recovery coaching program, My Resilient Recovery, which she will be launching online in the fall of 2018. 听This program is suitable as an aftercare program or for anyone wanting to boost their recovery to the next level. Ivy is also available for group sessions, presentations and workshops on a variety of topics.

Ivy has worked at a variety of treatment facilities including Edgewood Health Network Montreal, Freedom House, Chatsworth Pavilion as well as an Associate at LHH- Knightsbridge Human Capital Solutions a global career transition organization.

As well, she is connected to a wide and rich network of interventionists, treatment facilities and other mental healthcare providers across Canada and the U.S.A.

Ivy has a B.A in Communications from 平特五不中 and an M.A. in Human Systems Intervention from Concordia University.

Dr. Jodie Richardson is a clinical psychologist, member of the Order of Psychologists of Quebec and co-founder and Director of Connecte Montreal Psychology Group. She runs a successful clinic with a wonderful team of like-minded psychologists and has helped build a knowledge transfer platform on their website where they discuss mental health through their blog, podcast & picks. She splits her time between running the clinic, seeing her clients and organizing knowledge transfer events and articles. One of her passions is helping young psychologists navigate their careers and she has made it one of their clinic鈥檚 mandates to help psychologists develop both their clinical skills and their entrepreneurial skills. Dr. Richardson completed her graduate studies in psychology at 平特五不中, carrying out her PhD research at the Eating Disorders Program of the Douglas Mental Health University Institute. In her own clinical practice she helps empower individuals to move towards change through a combination of self-awareness, knowledge and evidence-based treatments such as cognitive behavioural therapy and mindfulness-based therapies. Her clinical specializations are in the areas of: 1) binge eating, weight management and bariatric surgery, 2) eating disorders, with a specialization in athletes, 3) anxiety disorders and 4) work-life balance.听

Jean Francois

A clinical psychologist by trade, Jean-Fran莽ois combines more than 18 years working as a talent management consultant for a wide variety of organizations across Canada. He has deep expertise in the areas of talent assessment, leadership coaching and conflict management interventions.听 He is often called upon to give his professional judgement as it relates to a leader鈥檚 capacity to manage challenges and shine albeit significant organizational obstacles.

Jean-Fran莽ois is a Quebec licensed psychologist. He completed his Master鈥檚 degree in psychology at the Universit茅 de Montr茅al and went on to doctorate studies at l鈥橴niversit茅 du Qu茅bec 脿 Montr茅al (UQAM), where he obtained his Ph.D.

He has an extended knowledge of psychometric tests and simulation exercises and has over the years been certified for many of the leading assessment tools: Hogan Leadership Forecast Series, Birkman method, MRG鈥檚 Leadership Effectiveness Analysis (LEA) 360掳, Chally-Predictor, Work Approach and Behavior Test (WABT), EQi, Watson-Glaser Critical Thinking Appraisal etc.).

Jean-Fran莽ois is a member of the Canadian Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (CSIOP) and an affiliate member of the Institute of Coaching (IOC) - McLean Hospital, Harvard Medical School affiliate

He began his career working in the area of crisis management with young offenders and at-risk youth, a group of people from whom he learned a lot. Heavily involved in his community, he continues helping local organizations dedicated to support street kids establish their psycho social services.
