Postdoctoral position in Demography of Chronic Pain - Global Aging and Community Initiative (GACI)

The Global Aging and Community Initiative (GACI) at Mount Saint Vincent University (MSVU) is seeking applications for a postdoctoral position on a 鈥淒emography of Chronic Pain鈥 project, funded by the U.S. National Institutes of Health. The successful candidate will work under the direction of 听and collaborate with an international team of scholars.
The project utilizes publicly available data from the U.S., Canada, and other countries, to analyze population-level pain trends, disparities in pain, the association between pain, disability and mortality, and other related topics. MSVU is particularly interested in recent or soon to be doctoral graduates with very strong quantitative skills looking to enhance their scholarship through publication in this area of research. While they will work together with an international research team, the successful candidate must also be able to work independently and creatively. Applicants can be from any discipline but must be familiar with demographic concepts, literature, and techniques. Proficiency in English is required.
