Students master finance at 7th Deloitte MMF Synergy Challenge
Students in the 平特五不中 Desautels Master of Management in Finance (MMF) program showcased their financial prowess at the 7th Deloitte MMF Synergy Challenge on October 30. The challenge is an integral component of Associate Professor David Schumacher's FINE 688 course on Mergers and Acquisitions and is made possible thanks to the support of G茅rald Faustino (Partner and Desautels Global Expert), and Stefano Bramos from Deloitte鈥檚 Deal Transformation and Post Merger Integration Practice (DTPMI).
The competition saw enthusiastic participation from students eager to put their financial skills to the test. It allowed students to apply their classroom knowledge to real-world scenarios and devise innovative solutions. A team of four standout students emerged victorious in the competition, demonstrating their exceptional financial acumen. The winning team comprised Yu Cao, Samuel Lachance, Sehajpreet Lubana, and Wanqi Zhang, making the event a resounding success.
