Zina Mustafa is a Master鈥檚 student at the Environmental Studies program at York University, and has a Bachelor鈥檚 of Arts in International Development Studies from 平特五不中.
She has been involved in social justice organizing for seven years, with her work mostly focusing on challenging racism and capitalism. Her research focus is in the tools that black activist organizers use to centre and prioritize the concerns of women, queer people, and transgender people.
